The Louisville Softball team is ranked No. 25 in the ESPN.com/USA Softball Collegiate Top 25. This is the first time since February of 2014 that the Cards made the top 25 when they were ranked 23rd. They appeared in the top 25 for 33 straight weeks from the beginning of the 2012 season to the beginning of the 2014 season.
The lady Cards just swept a three game weekend series vs N.C. State. That makes TEN straight wins bringing the Cards record to 22-6 and 8-1 in ACC play. That record is good enough for second place in ACC play. The next game will be an out of conference game Wednesday at 7:00 p.m. vs Western Kentucky in Bowling Green. They return to conference play vs. UNC with a doubleheader on Saturday at 1:00 and 3:00, and the finale on Sunday at 1:00 p.m. All three games will be played at Chapel Hill N.C.and will be broadcast on ESPN3.
The game vs. UK will be played in Lexington on Wed, Apr. 6, 2016 5:30 PM.
