Cardinal Sports Zone would like to wish a speedy recovery to Butler University’s Men’s Soccer player, Jared Timmer. Prayers go out to him. The Junior captain had suffered a lower leg injury in the game tonight against UofL in front of his dad.
Spectator Alex Sherrard said:
“I didn’t see the injury up close but he was laying there screaming and motioning for the trainers. His left leg was hanging loose and contorted to the left side. Looked like he completely blew out his knee. Had to be taken off the field by stretcher and sent to the hospital. His Dad looked completely crushed.”
Play has been halted in the 37th minute. Junior captain Jared Timmer being carted off with what appears to be lower leg/ankle injury
