Since Louisville joined the ACC, they have squared off with Clemson 3 times. Twice in Death Valley and once at PJCS. Clemson has come out on top in all 3 of these games by a combined total of 15 points. Each game has come down to the final possession – And so a rivalry is born.
Louisville is 6-1 in home openers under Bobby Petrino and are averaging 46.2 points per game in those home openers. Louisville is averaging 41 points per game this season while Clemson defense is allowing only 4.5 points per game. This battle of the defending National Champions vs the reigning Heisman trophy winner should be one for the ages.
