If you were at Papa Johns Cardinal Stadium today you were entertained by a squirrel. If you were not there, you missed one of the loudest ovations of the year as the squirrel, AKA Howard Squirlenberger, scampered home for the score. His 42 yard run was the longest run of the game. Howie Lindsey reported that Howard was placed in a tree outside the stadium after he was finally captured. Watch Howard’s run here.
