Louisville held it’s annual Men’s basketball media day on Saturday. Coach David Padgett addressed the media then the players were made available before they held a practice. Things I learned at media day –
- Ryan McMahon has a hairline fracture on one of his ribs. He injured it in the first Red-white scrimmage. Hopes to be available for season opener.
- Anas Mahmoud eats Taco Bell every night around midnight.
- David Padgett is really tall.
- Deng Adel has a goal to be the best player in the country.
- Jordan Nwora smiles a lot. (and that’s a good thing)
- Malik Williams made the freshman mistake of scheduling classes at 8 a.m. everyday.
- Jo Griffin is very quiet – but can ball.
- Louisville still has one open roster spot and I still have a year of eligibility left.
- This team is very close and seems to not have been bothered by the off the court stuff.
- They don’t serve food at basketball media day.
