The #5 ranked Louisville women’s basketball team took on #10 ranked Oregon on Sunday in the Championship of the Preseason Women’s NIT. The Cards were able to take down the Ducks by a final score of 74-61. The Cards were in control the entire game, with Oregon’s only lead coming very early in the first quarter.
Asia Durr and Myisha Hines-Allen led the way for the Cards and both earned all tournament accolades. Durr was the leading scorer with 26, while Hines-Allen contributed 17 points and 12 rebounds.
The Women’s Basketball team returns to the KFC Yum! Center this Friday at 1 PM against Murray State.
