Today, Louisville will look to earn its first “big” win of the season. The Hoosiers of Indiana travel to the Yum! Center to take on the hometown Cardinals at 2pm on ESPN. Louisville is currently favored by 9 points.
This is Archie Miller’s first year in Bloomington and the talented young coach has had his struggles but is seeing improvement in a squad that lost 3 players from last year’s roster.
While I do believe Miller will have Indiana back in the national landscape at some point, I don’t think that process will begin today. In order to win today, Louisville will need to limit turnovers and extend their leads instead of allowing the Hoosiers to change momentum like Louisville has allowed several times this season.
Prediction: Louisville 74-Indiana 64.
