Louisville vs Indiana: Postgame Recap

Despite trailing by 1 at halftime, Louisville took the lead on its first possession of the 2nd half and never looked back en route to a 71-62 win over visiting Indiana.

Louisville started the game slowly and found themselves down 25-15 with less than 10 minutes to go in the 1st half. The Cards began their run at that point and continued it throughout the game to get the team’s first “big” win of the year.

It was an all-around scoring effort from the Cards today, with 6 players contributing 7 points or more. Ray Spalding added another double-double to his name with 10 points and 14 rebounds. Anas Mahmoud chipped in 10 points, but fouled out. Deng Adel led the team with 16 points. Quentin Snider added 13 points of his own. And Freshman Malik Williams scored 9 points on 3 3-pointers in the first half to ignite the Cardinals’ run.
