UofL Commit Tutu Atwell led the Miami Northwestern Bulls to their first state title since the days of Teddy Bridgewater. He looked great doing it too.

Atwell accounted for 2 of the 3 TDs Northwestern had in their 21-16 victory over Armwood in the FL 6A Title Game.

One TD was a spectacular 51 yard run in which he appeared to be bottled up on the sideline, but made a nifty spin move and then turned on the jets to find the end zone. The other was a beautiful pass right on the money to a wide open receiver down the middle of the field for a 46 yard passing TD. Atwell went 10-18 for 152 yards passing and had 106 yards rushing per Spectrum Bay News 9 Sports Correspondent Corey Long.

Atwell is an elusive, fast, and tough player and a proven winner. UofL is lucky to have him in the fold. We now wait for him to officially become a Card on signing day. Congrats Tutu Atwell on this glorious achievement.
