Just because there is no longer a banner hanging in the Yum! Center stating “2013 NCAA National Champions” - does not mean the players think their accomplishment means less.
Louisville's 2013 players say the banner coming down and the records being stricken won't change what they did: https://t.co/grrDmd4H48

Itās disappointing to say the least. That being said, it doesnāt change very much if anything for myself, my family, and much of the Louisville community Iāve spoken to. That championship game was the last time my father had all his kids under one roof. That experience meant and still means very much to all of us. I couldnāt disagree more with the ruling and decision on the appeal. I havenāt really had time to wrap my head around it but at least as a community we can start moving in the right direction with this behind us. I look forward to being a Louisville fan forever and cheering on DP and this current team. I wouldnāt change a thing about my college decision. I am honored to be a Louisville Cardinal and to have played under one of the greatest basketball coaches ever Rick Pitino.
