The Banner Coming Down Changes Nothing For The 2013 National Championship Players

Just because there is no longer a banner hanging in the Yum! Center stating “2013 NCAA National Champions” -  does not mean the players think their accomplishment means less.

It’s disappointing to say the least. That being said, it doesn’t change very much if anything for myself, my family, and much of the Louisville community I’ve spoken to. That championship game was the last time my father had all his kids under one roof. That experience meant and still means very much to all of us. I couldn’t disagree more with the ruling and decision on the appeal. I haven’t really had time to wrap my head around it but at least as a community we can start moving in the right direction with this behind us. I look forward to being a Louisville fan forever and cheering on DP and this current team. I wouldn’t change a thing about my college decision. I am honored to be a Louisville Cardinal and to have played under one of the greatest basketball coaches ever Rick Pitino.
