Vince Tyra came into an impossible situation back in September but won over everyone by his class, transparency and showing the UofL fanbase how deep his love for the university is. Today, he finally had that interim tag removed.
The University of Louisville's Board of Trustees' personnel committee recommended to the full board that the school remove the interim tag from Vince Tyra's AD title. Five-year contract worth $850,000 per year in salary. Up to $150k in potential bonuses.
