After 615 days without a permanent President, a new leader has finally been named.
Dr. Neeli Bendapudi was announced as the 18th President of the University of Louisville. Dr. Bendapudi is the first female to preside over the university.
Her qualifications are no joke. Dr. Bendapudi is the current provost and executive vice chancellor at the University of Kansas. She is also a professor of Marketing in the KU School of Business.
Dr. Bendapudi is highly involved in several organizations and has received many prestigious honors and distinctions.
Her professional memberships include: American Marking Association (AMA), Association for Consumer Research, Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB), International Women’s Forum, National Association of Corporate Directors, Women Corporate Directors.
Dr. Bendapudi will begin her tenure as the President of the University of Louisville on May 15th, 2018.
