The 13U West Louisville baseball team won the state tournament recently and will be going to the Babe Ruth Little League World Series to compete. However, they have been looking for donors to help with the expenses of the trip.
The Jamon Brown Foundation, along with other local businesses and citizens, are stepping forward and donating funds to help these wonderful young men live their dream and try to win the championship and bring it home to Louisville.
From Danny Mosby’s Facebook:
Please share! Extremely Honored to Say that we (Jamon Brown Foundation) had the pleasure of donating to West Louisville Sports and their 13U Baseball Squad, that is heading to the Babe Ruth Little League World Series next week! Our Goal was to help them ease some financial stress, (Hotel, Food Etc) so that they may focus on having fun and bringing back that Championship to LOUISVILLE, KY! We were also able to rally our partners to Match our Donation! So, a very special Thank You to Kosair Charities, Steve Mudd Jr and Montgomery Chevrolet, The Aaron Flaker Family, and there are several others that are still Preparing Funds as we speak-to donate to this awesome cause! Thank you to our Founder Jamon Brown, who always has a heart of giving, and although he is presently in NFL training camp out in LA, wants you guys to know that he always has Louisville and our Youth on his mind! He will be cheering for you all the way from Los Angeles, California!!! Lastly, We will be present at the Big Parade for the kids, Coaches and their families, Monday at 6pm, and we will present to them at that time! There’s still time to donate! So please go now to their GoFundMe page and do what you can. Every little bit counts! Thank you to Coach Frank Thomas and staff, and the administration that supports these youth! You’re doing amazing work and we are ecstatic that we, and our partners, could be of assistance! Keep it going!
