When UofL has its home opener against Indiana State, their home stadium will be sporting a new name and a new, expanded look. The expansion is nearing completion as the seats are being installed and the video boards are up and functioning.
Football staff member Pete Nochta and 2013 MOP and UofL great Luke Hancock posted some pictures on Twitter of the expansion today.

The seats are cardinal red, not pink and the video boards are huge and provide a high quality picture. Thanks to Pete and Luke for providing these pictures.
Come September 8th, the expansion will be complete and UofL Football will have a beautiful new edition to Cardinal Stadium to show off to America. The team and their stadium are ready for prime time.
