The Louisville Cardinals used a late rally to improve to 5-2 with a 70-65 victory on the road at Seton Hall.
Myles Powell led the Pirates with 23 points, but was held to 2-12 shooting from three. Louisville held Seton Hall to only 3-19 shooting as a team from begin the arc.
For the Cards, Dwayne Sutton was the only double-digit scorer with 12 points; he added a team high 9 rebounds as well. It was a team effort today with six guys scoring between 7 and 12 points. The Cards trailed 59-54 late in the second half before using a 9-0 run to take the lead for good.

This was another game where Louisville was not as efficient offensively as they could have been, but they remained focused on the defensive side and pulled out a win on the road against a power conference opponent. Chris Mack has his team at 5-2 with a couple of really solid wins back to back after losing twice in Brooklyn.
Next up: Louisville will be back home Wednesday night against Central Arkansas at 7:00.
