Louisville at Georgia Tech: Cardinals Clip Yellowjackets

The Louisville Cardinals improved to 4-1 in the ACC and 13-5 overall today with a 79-51 thumping of Georgia Tech on the road.

Louisville jumped out to an early lead and never took their foot off the gas. The Cardinals held the Yellow Jackets to 16 first half points and cruised the rest of the way to a big conference road win.

Louisville was led by Jordan Nwora’s 25 points (10-16 FG) and 8 rebounds. The big man duo of Steven Enoch and Malik Williams contributed 15 points and 13 points, respectively. Running the show was Christen Cunningham with 11 assists to go along with 9 points.

Louisville has positioned itself to be in the newest Top-25 AP Poll. The Cardinals have handled business since their road loss to Pittsburgh. I expect to see Louisville come in around No. 22 when the poll is released.

Up next: Louisville hosts No. 17 NC State on Thursday the 24th at 8pm.
