The Louisville Cardinals (12-5, 3-1) go on the road for a weekend matchup with the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets (10-7, 2-2) on Saturday.

Georgia Tech sits at 2-2 in conference play, most recently losing to Clemson on the road Wednesday night. The Jackets will be without three players today, including its leading scorer Jose Alvarado (13.7). Louisville improved to 3-1 in the ACC with an 80-70 win over Boston College on Wednesday, a game where they led by as many as 23 in the second half. The Cards are led by Jordan Nwora, who is up to 18.1 points per game on the season.  Louisville is 5-0 versus Georgia Tech since joining the ACC.

This is another game that Louisville needs to win and win big. Especially considering the lack of depth for the Yellow Jackets today, Louisville needs to come out hot and take control early. Georgia Tech did knock off Syracuse on the road last weekend, but this is a team that Louisville should beat. If they play like we know they can, the Cards will be in a great position to improve to 4-1 in the ACC.

The game tips at 4:00 pm ET and will be televised live on ACC Network Live Extra, or WHAS-11 in Louisville.

Prediction:

Louisville 73   Georgia Tech 63
