“Jaxsen’s Journey” Gets Spotlight By UofL Coaches

According to Danielle Lerner with the Courier Journal, when Pitt visits the Yum! Center on January 26th, the cards will be looking for revenge and to raise awareness for pediatric cancer. The UofL coaches will be supporting the cause that hits too close to home for our strength and conditioning coach, Andy Kettler. Coach Kettler lost his son, Jaxen, to brain cancer when he was just 2 years old. The sneakers the coaches will be wearing say “Jaxsen’s Journey.” This initiative is part of the coaches vs cancer collaboration.

Andy and Kimbraly Kettler started Jaxon’s journey to help raise money for pediatric cancer research. If you are interested in donating to the cause, you can do so at: http://www.jaxsensjourney.com.
