On Monday afternoon, the Louisville Cardinal Softball began its 20th season with a new head coach, Holly Aprile. Seniors Megan Hensley, Sidney Melton, and coach Holly Aprile met with the media to discuss the upcoming season and their expectations.
This is the first time in twenty years that the Louisville softball team will start the season with a new coach. The team is coming off a 33-20 season with 14 returning players along with 6 starters and 5 freshmen. They are hopeful and looking forward to a great season. The Cards kick off the season on the road on February 8th in the Fullerton Titan Classic before coming home on March 1st for The Cardinal Classic.
