The Louisville Cardinals had no problems on the road at Wake Forest tonight. Louisville controlled from start to finish en route to an 82-54 victory.
Louisville was led by Jordan Nwora’s continued stellar play. He finished with 20 points and 6 rebounds. Dwayne Sutton had another good night, finishing with another double-double of 17 points and 10 rebounds. Malik Williams nearly notched a double-double as well. He finished with 13 points and 8 rebounds. Sharp shooting Ryan McMahon added another efficient performance from deep, shooting 4-6 from 3-point range for 12 points.
Louisville took care of business tonight. This could have been a trap game if the Cardinals were looking ahead to Saturday’s contest with North Carolina, but they were focused and handled the trip as well as could be asked. Louisville now enters a difficult February, but with groundwork for a great season already started. Let’s see if the momentum continues.
