Asia Durr, Arica Carter and Sam Fuehring all heard their names called during the 2019 WNBA Draft.
Asia Durr was selected second by the New York Liberty. Durr is the second highest draft pick for the Cardinals, only behind Angel McCoughtry who was drafted at No. 1.
Guard Arica Carter heard her name called by the Phoenix Mercury with pick number 32. The move to Phoenix puts the Los Angelas native closer to home.
Forward Sam Fuehring rounded out the trio. Fuehring was selected 34th by the Washington Mystic. Fuehring will join fellow Louisville alum, Myisha Hines-Allen.
It was a fantastic night for all three Louisville seniors. Cardinal Sports Zone wishes all the best to AC, Sam & Asia. We can’t wait to watch you tear up the WNBA!! GO CARDS!!
