With ACC Kickoff set to begin Wednesday and the 2019 football season just on the horizon, UofL Football released their initial depth chart for the 2019 season.

The QB situation is not settled at this point as the depth chart lists Jawon Pass OR Malik Cunningham. I still think Jawon ends up winning the job, but it will be something to follow during fall camp.
The starters at WR and RB are who many expected. Dez Fitzpatrick, Seth Dawkins, and Tutu Atwell will be the starting receivers while Hassan Hall is the starting RB.
The OL is anchored by Mekhi Becton at LT. The other tackle spot belongs to Tyler Haycraft. The OGs are Caleb Chandler and former starting C Robbie Bell. The C will be Cole Bentley OR Florida grad transfer TJ McCoy.
Starting at TE and H-back will be Jordan Davis and Marshon Ford respectively to round out the offensive side of the ball.
Defensively, the DL will have starting DEs will be Amonte Caban and Tabarius Peterson and starting NT GG Robinson.
There are quite a few “ors” in the LB corps, but the starters are set. Boosie Whitlow and Rodjay Burns are your starters at OLB. The ILB are CJ Avery and Dorian Etheridge. Behind them there appears to be a lot of competition to lock down the immediate backup position.
In the secondary, Cornelius Sturgill and Chandler Jones are going to be starting at CB. At SS, Russ Yeast gets the nod while Kane Pass will start at FS. There is some competition for the backup spots behind Sturgill and Yeast, but the other secondary backups are locked in.
For Special Teams, Blanton Creque is obviously the starting K while Mason King will be the punter and holder. Mitch Hall will continue to be the long snapper. Your KRs are Russ Yeast and Hassan Hall while your PR is once again Rodjay Burns.
I’m sure as camp begins and the competition really gets going, the depth chart will fluctuate due to many factors. It’ll be interesting to see who wins the QB battle and the battle at the C position on the OL.
