Mark your calendars and set your DVRs Card fans for Sunday, September 1st at 9 pm. That is the air date for the much ballyhooed all-access show featuring UofL Football on the ACC Network.
It should be fun to watch this and see how coaches and players interact and communicate. According to the UofL press release, the film crew did film some practices and scrimmages. I’m sure we will get to see some of the highlights from the practices and scrimmages they filmed. It should give us a small snapshot of what our team may look like when they play the next night against Notre Dame.

PRESS RELEASE FROM THE UNIVERSITY OF LOUISVILLE ATHLETIC DEPARTMENT:
All-Access Show Highlighting Louisville Football to Air Sunday Night
The show will air on the ACC Network at 9 p.m. on Sunday.
LOUISVILLE, Ky. – The day before the University of Louisville kicks off the 2019 football season versus No. 9 Notre Dame at Cardinal Stadium, the recently launched ACC Network (ACCN) will air a behind-the-scenes look at Louisville football on Sunday at 9 p.m.
In an exclusive behind-the-scenes look into first-year head coach Scott Satterfield’s Louisville football team, he and his staff go beyond the X’s and O’s to create a winning culture and family atmosphere to revive the proud football program.
“It’s a great way to showcase our football program,” Satterfield said. “It gives our fans an inside look on how we operate as a coaching staff and just how hard our players worked to prepare for the upcoming season. I am excited to share some of the special moments from our preseason – as we all get ready for our first season at the University of Louisville.”
The one-hour show, which was created by TA Films, will feature the charismatic personalities of Satterfield’s staff as it looks to inject a renewed energy into the players and community, while the Cardinals prepare for their season-opening game against Notre Dame and a challenging ACC schedule.
Camera crews were in Louisville for much of fall camp and shot most of the team’s practices, team and position meetings, scrimmages and team events.
The Cardinals open the season on Monday night at 8 p.m. on ESPN.
