The Louisville Men’s soccer team got their first win of the young season on Tuesday night. They took down the number nine team in the country, the Kentucky Wildcats. The Cards managed to score three goals, while shutting out the Cats. Everoth, Masset and Dieye did the scoring for Louisville. The Cards took at 2-0 lead before the 20th minute and it was smooth sailing from there. Dieye scored his goal in the 81st minute to add to the lead.
Louisville moves to 1-0-1 on the season and they will return to Lynn Stadium to take on Virginia Tech on September 20th.
