It’s hard to believe, but we are right on the doorstep of basketball season. With that in mind, UofL announced today its annual Red-White Scrimmage will be held on October 12th with the game time to be determined. Tickets for the event will be sold starting September 7th at Cardinal Stadium before the UofL vs. EKU football game at a price of $10.
It’s a chance to sit in the lower bowl of the Yum Center at an unbelievably low price to watch Coach Chris Mack and Team 106 prepare for the season. It’s also a chance to see the brand new court design in person. This season is one where the Cards will likely start out in the top 10 and it is one filled with high expectations.

UofL Men’s Basketball Scrimmage Tickets on Sale Sept. 7
LOUISVILLE, Ky. – The University of Louisville men’s basketball team will compete in a public Red-White intrasquad scrimmage in the KFC Yum! Center on Oct. 12.
The game time for the scrimmage will be set approximately two weeks prior to the event, so as not to conflict with the time of the Cardinals’ football game at Wake Forest that day.
Tickets, priced at $10 each, will go on sale on Saturday, Sept. 7 at 2 p.m. until kickoff of the Cardinals’ football game against Eastern Kentucky at the UofL Ticket Office, located near Gate 2 of Cardinal Stadium at 2800 South Floyd Street. In addition to Saturday’s opportunity, the ticket office is open weekdays from 9 a.m. until 5 p.m.

Tickets are available for UofL students to the scrimmage at no charge. Students may obtain up to two tickets with a valid student ID in advance of the game at the UofL ticket office.

The Cardinals have been ranked among the nation’s top teams in multiple early rankings by national outlets, including as high as No. 2. Last season, Louisville achieved a 20-14 record and participated in its 39th NCAA Tournament. The Cardinals will return six of their top seven scorers from last year and welcome a top 10 recruiting class.
