On Friday November 1st, The University of Louisville women’s basketball team held their annual Tipoff Luncheon at the Louisville Marriott Downtown. There were just over 800 fans in attendance. Sean Moth mc’d the event and after he introduced the team, the fans enjoyed a nice meal that included Cast Iron Seared Chicken and a Chocolate Chip Pumpkin Cheesecake. After the meal, athletic director Vince Tyra addressed the large crowd. After Vince spoke, Sean brought the 5 seniors, Bionca Dunham, Jessica Laemmle, Jazmine Jones, Kylee Shook and Yacine Diop, up to the stage for a fun Q&A session. The luncheon concluded with a very fun and informative speech by head coach, Jeff Walz. It is really a fun event and I highly encourage you try to attend next year.
Louisville begins the 2019-20 season on Tuesday, Nov. 5th at the KFC Yum! Center against Western Kentucky. They play their first five games at home. Get out and support the women.
