Louisville will be seeking to send the seniors and home crowd off with a big victory and add to an unexpectedly good season. Meanwhile, Syracuse will be trying to salvage a season of extreme disappointment by getting an unexpected victory.
The last meeting between Louisville and Syracuse took place on November 9th, 2018 in the Carrier Dome. The Orange completely dominated the Cards in a 54-23 rout. That loss was the last one suffered with Bobby Petrino as head coach of the program as he was fired two days afterwards.
Louisville is currently at 5-4 and 3-3 in conference. They will go on the road to face NC State this weekend before hosting the Orange. Syracuse is 3-6 and 0-5 in conference. They will be on the road facing a Coastal Division foe in Duke before coming to Cardinal Stadium. Louisville is likely to be favored for this game.
