Louisville junior LB Dorian Etheridge had a huge game against NC State on Saturday. Etheridge had 11 total tackles, 1 interception, and 3 pass breakups as he helped lead the Cards to bowl eligibility.
The ACC recognized just how excellent his play was in the game and awarded him ACC Linebacker of the Week honors.

Etheridge has been a stalwart for UofL all season long and ever since he stepped foot on campus. His freshman season was highlighted by his being named an ESPN Freshman All-American.

Etheridge Named ACC Linebacker of the Week
Dorian Etheridge recorded 11 tackles and his first career interception in a win over NC State.

LOUISVILLE- University of Louisville linebacker Dorian Etheridge was named the Atlantic Coast Conference Linebacker of the Week, the league announced Monday.
Etheridge played his best game of the season in Louisville’s 34-20 victory over NC State on Saturday to help the Cardinals reach bowl eligibility.
The native of Charleston, W. Va., recorded a season best 11 tackles and his first career interception as the Cardinals limited the Wolfpack to 377 yards of total offense. The junior is fifth on the team with 51 tackles.
A three-year starter at middle linebacker, Etheridge also was credited with a career high three pass break-ups.
The Cardinals close their home schedule on Saturday with a 4 p.m. kickoff against Syracuse.
