Men’s Tennis:
On Sunday, Freshman Randy Wilson defeated Samford’s Rossuw Norval for the PRC Collegiate Invite Flight ‘A’ Singles Title.

Volleyball:
vs Florida State:
The Cardinals competed against Florida State on Sunday losing 3-1. Sophomore Claire Chaussee had a career high 19 kills but this wasn’t enough for the Cardinals. The Cardinals took the first set 25-18. Florida State started a run and never looked back the rest of the match.
vs Syracuse:
The Cardinals also faced Syracuse on Friday night winning all three sets behind stellar performances of Sophomore Claire Chaussee and Freshman Amber Stivrins. The Cardinals had five aces and blocks behind 41 digs as well. The Cardinals with the victory moved into tie for 5th place in the ACC with a 10-5 record.

#2 Men’s Basketball:
vs Indiana State:
The #2 Cardinals hosted Indiana State on Wednesday Night. The Cardinals won 91-62 behind Jordan Nwora’s 21pts and Samuel Williamson’s 15pts. The Cardinals shot over 50% from the field for the third consecutive game. The Cardinals defense held the Sycamores to 34% from the field. Senior Steve Enoch grabbed 10 of the Cardinals’ 42 rebounds.
vs North Carolina Central
The #2 Cardinals hosted North Carolina Central on Sunday Evening. The Cardinals had another night shooting over 50% the field behind Steven Enoch’s 15pts and Jordan Nwora’s 17pts. The Cardinals finished shooting almost 57% from the field. Four of the five Cardinals’ starters were in double figures. North Carolina Central couldn’t get anything from the field shooting less than 35% from the field.

#8 Women’s Basketball:
vs Central Michigan
On Thursday, #8 Louisville Cardinals’ Women’s basketball team hosted Central Michigan. Jazmine Jones and Dana Evans each had career highs in the 76-63 victory. Senior Jazmine Jones had 25pts and Junior Dana Evans had 24pts. The Cards snagged 18 offensive rebounds against the Chippewas. Senior Kylee Shook also contributed with 15pts and 5 blocks that moved that her into second all time in Louisville history for block shots.

Football:
For the First time since 2017, the Louisville Cardinal’s football team will be bowling. The Cardinals defeated NC State on Saturday night in 34-20 defeated. Junior quarterback Micale Cunningham had four touchdown passes and 242 yards passing. Redshirt Freshman running back Javian Hawkins, became the first Louisville running back since 2010 (Bilal Powell) with 1,000 yards in a season. The Cardinals even had touchdown thrown by Kicker Ryan Chalifoux.

Cross Country:
The Cardinals competed in the Southeast Regional. Sophomore Ivine Chemutai finished 8th and claimed a spot in NCAA Championship.
ICYMI: Ivine is headed to the #NCAAXC Championship. Chemutai fought her way to the finish to lead the Cards with her 8th place finish. Emmanuel Cheboson finished 12th to lead the men!

#5 Field Hockey:
vs #11 Michigan
On Friday, the #5 Louisville Cardinals’ women’s field hockey team competed in the first round of NCAA against #11 Michigan. The Cardinals’ Bethany Russ scored the deciding goal in the second overtime to give the Cardinals the 2-1 victory. Louisville out shot the Wolverines 10-8. Junior Goalkeeper Hollyn Barr was able to grab her 16th victory of the season. The Cardinals would move on to face #7 Boston College on Sunday.
vs #7 Boston College
On Sunday, the #5 Cardinals hosted the #7 Boston College Eagles in quarterfinals of NCAA Tournament. Louisville outshot the eagles 20-9 but did not come up victorious. They fell 2-1 in the second sudden victory shootout. Bethany Russ provided the Cardinals with their only goal. The Cardinals finished with the best record in school history with 16-6 record.

#23 Women’s Soccer:
vs Lipscomb
#23 Louisville Cardinals women’s soccer hosted the first round of the NCAA tournament. The Cardinals got on the board first with a header from Sophomore Sarah Hernandez. She helped the Cardinals offensive attack. The Cardinals had pressured all game and just couldn’t find another goal against Lipscomb’s Melissa Gray. The Cardinals defeated Lipscomb 1-0 to move on to the second round of NCAA tournament for only second time in school history.
