2021 5 Star PG Visiting Louisville For Showdown With Michigan

5 Star 2021 PG Khristian Lander is coming back to visit Louisville for the big matchup with Michigan, as first reported by Stock Risers’ Jake Weingarten.

Lander has already visited Louisville once. He officially visited during the second annual Louisville Live event at 4th Street Live!.

Lander is one of two guards Louisville has made a top priority in the 2021 class, the other being Zion Harmon. The 6’2 165 lbs Lander is from Evansville, IN and has offers from Michigan, Indiana, Kansas, Florida, and Memphis, among others. 247sports has him ranked as the 11th overall recruit and the number 1 PG in the class.

Lander is a good shooter from the mid-range and the three-point line. His ball handling is top notch. He’s very good at varying the speed of his dribble, probing a defense to find its weakness. If they play off, he shoots, if they play up, he will drive to the hoop or hit a pull-up jumper. If they hedge another defender towards him, he sees the floor well and finds the open man. Lander is a complete PG.

As it stands right now, Louisville and Michigan seem to be the schools Lander is showing the most interest in, with IU lurking just behind. I find it interesting that Lander chooses this game, between the two schools he seems most interested in, as the game he takes his second visit to Louisville. As if tonight couldn’t get any bigger, the future of both programs playing in the game sits as a spectator watching intently as he continues the decision making process.
