Louisville Men’s Basketball is going to be headed west in November 2020 to Las Vegas, NV. The neon lights of the Vegas strip will be the backdrop for Louisville’s participation in the 2020 MGM Resorts Main Event tournament.

The tournament will take place November 20th-November 22nd at the T-Mobile Arena. Louisville is the first team named of four that will compete in the tournament. The others will be announced over the coming weeks. Games will begin on Friday, November 20th and the consolation and championship games will be played on Sunday, November 22nd.
This past season, Colorado won the event by beating Clemson in the championship game. Other past winners include Arizona State, UNLV, and Creighton, among others. The inaugural event took place in 2014 and was won by Oklahoma State. This event benefits Coaches vs. Cancer.
