As mass hysteria and fear sweep the nation, former Louisville standout and current Atlanta Falcon’s Guard, Jamon Brown, is providing a source of relief for victims of COVID-19.
Brown, and his foundation team, have created a fund to provide support for individuals seeking medical treatment for the COVID-19 virus.
Donations can be made on the GoFundMe page setup by the J. Brown Foundation: NFL Atlanta Falcons Jamon Brown Coronavirus Relief
The goal of the J. Brown Foundation is to empower individuals to lead healthy lives, while aiming to help alleviate the financial burden associated with receiving medical care for the novel coronavirus.
Per the foundation’s GoFundMe page, “This fund is designed solely for the purpose of financial assistance for those that are uninsured, underinsured, or economically disadvantaged in our communities. Donations will be given to persons that seek testing or other medical care and incurs any copay, deductible, or any other ‘out-of-pocket’ expense, as a result of COVID-19 treatment.”
Additionally, the fund will assist individuals who are off work due to illness or experiencing employment closures with utility bills and food assistance.
For questions, or to request assistance, please email: info@jbrownfoundation.com.
Everyone is welcome, and every little bit matters. All donations are Tax Deductible.
PLEASE NOTE: that this assistance should not be used to take the place of any insurance plan, and any payment will be made by the J. BROWN FOUNDATION, directly to the clinical provider on behalf of the individual receiving care. Employment status must also be verified, for the purpose of assistance with utility bills.
