Dawkins played significant snaps in all 4 years of his Cardinal career. He was a big receiver that was known to go up and grab jump balls. Last season, he had a career game against Boston College. Dawkins had 6 receptions for 170 yards and 1 TD. He was also an integral part of the run game. Coach Scott Satterfield runs the ball a lot and uses the stretch play. This type of offense requires good blocking from receivers and Dawkins was excellent blocking on the outside for Javian Hawkins.
Dawkins stuck it out for the Cards despite the tumultuous 2018 season. The Columbus, OH native could’ve easily transferred out after all the drama that beset the program in 2018, but he came back and was productive for the Cards this past season.
Now, Seth Dawkins begins his NFL journey. While it’s not a guarantee he makes Seattle’s roster, his size, physicality, speed, and athleticism will give him a great chance to make it. We here at CSZ would like to congratulate Cardinal Forever Seth Dawkins and we hope to see him suiting up on Sundays this fall.
