Hamilton is a LB that runs sideline to sideline. He possesses excellent speed, is a great tackler, and hits with fury. He can blitz off the edge and is very good about maintaining his discipline until a play unfolds and attacking at the right time. What makes him even more special is his ability to cover. He can play man or zone and line up against all varieties of receivers. This is one that would be a huge pickup and we believe he will be in the flock for 2021.

Kollie is an incredibly talented LB. His speed is absolutely elite as is his acceleration. He is an excellent tackler and his hits bring the pain. His ability to read and react is unbelievably quick. The ability to rush the passer from the edge and be in the backfield causing havoc in general are why so many schools love him. If UofL pulls this commit…it’s a possible program changer. It will be very hard to beat schools like Alabama and Georgia with their rich history of producing NFL linebackers, but this Louisville staff is doing a great job at making Louisville a viable option. The Cards definitely have a shot.

Jackson is an athletic player that plays WR, OLB, and S. It seems Louisville is looking at him as an OLB. His ability to time and explode off the snap, coupled with his speed makes him a lethal pass rusher off the edge. His eye discipline should allow him to be very good against read option and option teams. Jackson will do well in zone coverage schemes as well. Make no mistake, he will be an edge rushing OLB first and foremost.

Cannon is a playmaking WR that will be an ideal red zone target. With his long arms and leaping ability, he will win one-on-one jump ball battles. His catch radius is insane and his hands are strong, allowing him to snatch the ball out of the air. His ability to track the ball in the air on over-the-shoulder catches is excellent. He’s also a good route runner with good speed to be able to take it to the house on plays he gets behind the coverage. He seems to have become the number 1 priority at WR for Louisville.

Sanders is the son of “Primetime” Deion Sanders. This young QB has a very accurate arm, especially on downfield throws. He can make all the throws, deep outs, downfield bombs, slants, etc. He can scramble as well. When he scrambles, his priority is to keep plays alive to find receivers downfield. However, when he does decide it’s time to tuck and run, he’s can get big yards. Sanders stands tall in the pocket and shows great footwork within it. The touch on his throws his perfect. Definitely the number 1 priority for the Cards at QB in this class.

Paul recently de-committed from Nebraska. Louisville is one of a handful of schools after him. Paul is a ILB that’s at his best attacking the line of scrimmage downhill. He’s adept at finding creases within the blocking scheme of the offensive line and running through them like a RB to get into the backfield for tackles for loss. He has the speed to be good going sideline to sideline to help stop running plays that attack the edge. For Louisville, there’s no doubt he’d be a superb run stopper.

Mort was offered by Louisville in January and Louisville is in his final 2 schools. He’s an OT that, like all of Louisville’s other OL recruits, has a high motor and finishes his blocks well. He’s equally adept at run and pass blocking. He launches at the snap out of his stance; forward when run blocking and back when pass blocking. He has a nice little kick step when pass blocking. He has good footwork and athleticism for his size. This is one to watch for.

Louisville has been in on Huggins-Bruce for a long time and, for some time, appeared to be the favorite for his commitment. He’s a great route runner. With the ball in his hands, he can make defenders miss in the open field, break tackles, and take it to the house. His speed is game breaking. However, it appears the favorite for Huggins-Bruce has shifted to Virginia Tech. We will know soon because he will be committing on July 2nd.
