While Louisville Men’s Basketball is working on securing a top class for 2021, they are already laying the ground work for the 2022 class. Today, they offered one of the top power forwards in the 2022 class in 5 Star Jalen Washington.

A 6’8 200 lbs prospect out of Gary, IN, Washington currently has offers from Indiana, Iowa, Alabama, DePaul, and Purdue, in addition to his new Louisville offer. 247sports has Washington ranked as the 17th best prospect nationally and 4th best prospect at his position.
Washington is a forward that can do a little of everything offensively. He can shoot from the arc, shot fake and drive from the wing, post up on the block and score, and pass. He’s an especially good passer when facing the basket from the perimeter. He’s also a good rebounder and rim protector. Obviously, with Washington being a 2022 prospect, his recruitment likely has a long way to go. This is still a recruit to keep an eye on for Card fans.
