Louisville Football has been absolutely killing it on the recruiting trail in 2021. They have picked up 6 big commits in the span of a week. Now, they are looking to finish up this class and do so strongly. One elite prospect they have targeted is 4 Star OLB Prince Kollie. Kollie appears to really like the Cards. So much so, that the Jonesborough, TN prospect has Louisville listed in his final 5.
#AGTG Thankful for the blessings god has given me and I also want to say thank you for everyone who has believed in me and helped me get to this point.🙏🏾@youngballcoach_ @k_rams10_52 @LSUfootball @GeorgiaFootball @OU_Football @GoCards @NDFootball @BGilmer18

Listed with Louisville are some big-time blue blood programs: LSU, Notre Dame, Oklahoma, and Georgia. This is some serious competition for Kollie, but it is understandable. 247sports ranks him as the 231st best prospect nationally and the 16th best at his position.
#MyTop10 #AGTG 🙏🏾Thank you to all the Colleges/Universities that believed in me and my ability. Thank you @DCHSpioneers @youngballcoach_ @k_rams10_52 and #PioneerNation

It’s important to note he also cut some other big time schools from his top 10 to keep Louisville in his top 5. Those schools included Auburn, Texas, and Tennessee. Virginia and Wake Forest were the other two schools in his top 10. This should tell Card fans just how much he likes Louisville and the staff.
The 6’1 200 lbs Kollie had a highly productive year for David Crockett High School last season. He had 78 total tackles, 4 tackles for loss, 2 sacks, 1 interception, 3 forced fumbles, 1 fumble recovery, and 7 passes defensed. These numbers show a versatile defender that can contribute on the field in multiple ways.
I’ve already watched some highlights of him and those numbers above are no fluke. His speed is insane for his size and position. He can be a weapon pass rushing off the edge. Like our other LB commits, he reads plays well and reacts quickly and accordingly. He can tackle so very well and deliver big time hits. In coverage, he’s very adept at zone coverage. Kollie is dynamic and elite.
Louisville is definitely pushing hard to make Prince Kollie a member of #FlyVille21. It’s going to be difficult to beat these blue bloods, but the Cards are in great position and have a real shot to land Kollie. Being included among a top 5 that has as much rich history as these programs do in college football is something to be admired in and of itself.
