Louisville Offensive Coordinator and Offensive Line Coach Dwayne Ledford met with the media Tuesday evening after practice. He discussed many topics including the performance against Syracuse and the upcoming game against Boston College.

The first topic discussed was the emergence of RB Maurice Burkley. Coach Ledford discussed how hard Burkley worked on his journey from walk-on to scholarship player and how he earned the scholarship. He lauds Burkley’s hard running, leadership, and ability to be a complete back.
On a follow up question about Burkley’s effort, Coach Ledford said the young man does everything like it’s “4th and 1.” He gives great effort in every aspect of game preparation and the game.
Among other topics Coach Ledford discussed were:
- Malik Cunningham and his ability as a dynamic playmaker making him the best option at QB despite his turnovers.
- Boston College’s defense and the fact that their effort is their number 1 strength.
