The volleyball team hit the court again on Saturday in an exhibition match against Dayton. It was their first time on the court since a 3-1 victory at Pittsburgh (snapping the Panthers’ 37-match home winning streak) on October 25th. This exhibition kicks off the spring portion of the season. Due to Covid, the season was split into two semesters. In the fall portion, Louisville was 5-2. As of January 31st, 2021, Louisville is ranked 12th in the country. In this spring portion of the season, the Cards will play 12 matches, including a home match against #15 Notre Dame on Saturday, February 27th.
The Cards won the exhibition match against Dayton 3-1 (25-17, 25-17, 20-25, 25-20).

Per GoCards.com : Although L&N Federal Credit Union Arena will play host to five of the Cardinals’ matches, attendance will be restricted to family and friends in accordance with state and local health recommendations. Tickets will not be available for purchase. All Louisville Volleyball season ticket holders will still have their seat locations secured when we’re able to return to full capacity.
