Football Recruiting Gets Two Big Staff Additions

Louisville football recruiting seems to be headed in the right direction. First, Louisville announces the addition of recruiting coordinator, David Cooper and now they announce the addition of Caroline McMurry as the new director of on-campus recruiting.

Cooper comes to Louisville after a stint at Florida where he was assistant director of player personnel. He helped the Gators land a top 15 class in 2021 and had them well on their way to a top 10 class in 2022.

Cooper is a young, up and coming recruiting guru. He played at Indiana during the early part of last decade as an ILB. With SEC ties and ties to our region as a player, Cooper will bring a unique perspective to the recruiting staff. He knows the southeast and will help the Cards make more in-roads in FL and GA.

McMurry comes to Louisville from Oklahoma where she has been the Football Recruiting Operations Coordinator since October of 2017. Prior to her position at Oklahoma, she was an on-campus recruiting assistant at North Carolina. McMurry graduated with a degree in sports administration from North Carolina in 2017.

Oklahoma has ranked in the top-15 nationally according to Rivals.com’s recruiting rankings each season McMurry has been at OU. Most recently she helped Oklahoma achieve the nation’s 13th ranked recruiting class in 2021.
