Louisville baseball announced today that it will host a midweek game against USC Upstate, taking place on May 18th at 3 p.m. Admission is free for fans for the game.
The USC Upstate Spartans are currently 34-10, and lead the Big South Conference with a 25-9 record in conference play. USC Upstate is also 35th in the RPI as of May 12th, and projected to make the NCAA Tournament in three weeks.
As for Louisville, the addition of the USC Upstate game means that the Cardinals will end its regular season playing seven games in nine days. Louisville will travel to Chapel Hill to face North Carolina this weekend (May 14-16), then return home to host USC Upstate (May 18) and Miami (FL) (May 20-22) on the final week of the regular season.
