A couple weeks ago, Independence CC QB Brock Domann made the trip out to Louisville for an unofficial visit and workout with Coach Pete Thomas. It seems as though the visit and workout paid off, as he will be using his last 2 years of eligibility with the Cardinals.
I never stopped believing in what God put on my heart. ALWAYS BET ON YOURSELF. It’s been a long journey, but I’m extremely grateful for the experiences that have led me to this point. I am proud to say I am committed to the University of Louisville to play Quarterback💯 #theville pic.twitter.com/WuZwBdgDpx

Now, he looks to provide solid depth in a room that definitely lacked it, especially after the unexpected loss of Luke McCaffery to the portal.
Brock lacks elite size at 6’1 200 lbs, but he definitely has a solid arm, with the ability to make accurate throws 40+ yards downfield. Probably my favorite thing I saw from his tape was his ability to put the ball where only his receiver has a chance of getting it. His accuracy in the intermediate routes is something that pops out on tape as well. He’s not a burner by any means, but he’s a smart and capable scrambler and reminds me a lot of current Cardinal Evan Conley.
I don’t see Brock Domann challenging Malik at any point this coming up season, but Domann does provide the depth that we need. He’s a guy that can be called upon to run the offense and make throws if something happens to Malik.
