2022 Four-Star Shooting Guard Rodney Rice Cuts His List to Six

Top Louisville basketball target Rodney Rice trimmed his list of schools to six on Saturday afternoon. The Cardinals made the cut for the 2022 four-star shooting guard along with Alabama, Maryland, Georgetown, Notre Dame, and Virginia Tech. Rice also holds offers from Connecticut, LSU, Miami, Oklahoma State, Penn State, Wake Forest, and others.

Rice is ranked as the 64th-best prospect (247Sports) in the 2022 recruiting class, and the ninth-best at his position. Louisville is in a good position with the Clinton, Md. native, as Head Coach Chris Mack has made Rice a top priority. Rice recently took his official visit with the program back on June 22nd.

At 6-foot-4, Rice possesses good shot mechanics and can light it up from the perimeter. Although he excels in catch-and-shoot situations, he is also able to create his own shot and offense for teammates. Rice projects as a complementary ball-handler that also serves as a volume shooter.
