The uniform combo has been released for UofL’s matchup with Virginia. This is a combo we have actually seen once already this season, but with a slightly different twist.

The white helmet, red jersey, and white pants combo was worn by the team in the EKU game on September 11th. The Cards were victorious in this contest 30-3. They seek to improve their record wearing this combo to 2-0 on the season.
While the jersey and pants are exactly the same as they have been all year, the helmet is slightly different. Instead of the American flag Cardinal head decal on the helmet, it will be a white Cardinal head decal outlined in red. Yes, technically it’s a whole new combo, but in my opinion, it’s not really. That is why I consider that it’s a combo we have already worn and won a game while wearing.
UofL’s game with the Cavaliers kicks off at 3 pm EST at Cardinal Stadium. For those that cannot attend the game, you can watch it on the ACC Network.
