On Wednesday, golfer Andrew Tan officially signed his national letter of intent to Louisville, and is the lone signee in the 2022 class. The Austin, Tx. native will join Head Coach Ryan Blagg’s squad in the fall.

From the university’s press release:
“Tan comes to Louisville from Austin, Texas, where he attends Vandegrift High School and was a two-time team captain and was named the team’s Most Valuable Player in consecutive seasons.
I am excited that Andrew Tan is joining our program,” Blagg said. “Andrew is very talented and continues to show fantastic development in his golf game, he is a serious worker and will be a great addition to our team.”
A three-year letterwinner, Tan registered 11 career top-10 finishes and was a 2020 all-district and all-region honoree.
Playing on the Legends Junior Tour, Tan won the 2021 James A. Ragan Memorial by carding a 3-under-par and posted a win in the 2019 event by firing 6-under-par. He also won the 2021 Texas Junior Alliance Invitational after shooting 12-under-par and earned his way on to the Jackie Burke Cup in 2020 and 2021.
The 120th-ranked player in the Polo rankings, Tan placed third at the 2021 Insperity Invitational and the Patrick Reed Junior Championship where he finished at 2-under-par.
The No. 37 player in the class of 2022, Tan placed second at the 2020 KJ Choi Foundation Texas Junior Championship.”
