CSZ Staff Predictions: Louisville vs Kentucky

Jeremy Wahman

(7-4)*

Louisville 38 – Kentucky 17

We will run them off of the field. I don’t think that they are as good as they think they are. I don’t think that they are as good as some of the podcast team members think they are. They are not bulletproof. The momentum we have built the past few weeks will be too much. We will praise Satt all day Sunday.

Jeff Nunn

(8-3)

Louisville 42 – Kentucky 21

When you look at the stats a a whole, Kentucky looks like the better team. But when you take into account the stats against non conference opponents (UL Monroe, Chattanooga and New Mexico State), they don’t look as good. Despite UK playing #1 Georgia and #10 Florida, Louisville has a much better strength of schedule. UK’s weakness is a mobile QB. These are two team trending in different directions and the time is right for a Cards victory.

Higgy

(9-2)

Louisville 34 – Kentucky 24

I just think sat & company will have us ready this year. I think our offense is definitely more talented than theirs

Ben Gumbel

(9-2)

Louisville 33 – Kentucky 30

If Louisville loses on Saturday, it’ll be its fourth loss out of five against Kentucky. Let’s avoid that embarrassment.

Dalton Pence

(7-4)

Kentucky 38 – Louisville 31

Louisville has Uncle Mo on their side, but they’re going up against the best offensive line they have played all season. It’ll be a lot closer than 2019, but the Wildcats strengths in the trenches and in the front seven put them past the Cardinals.

Jacob Pratt

(7-4)

Louisville 30 – Kentucky 17

Malik has another 4 TD performance to lead Louisville to a pretty dominant victory over that team down the road.

Sam Basden

(7-4)

Louisvillle 37 – Kentucky 30

I’m never going to pick the kitty kats to beat UofL, no matter what the sport. With that being said, UofL wins 37-30. Louisville playmakers make plays and the offense torches the kitty cats secondary. Louisville forces uk into 2 crucial turnovers. Coach Satterfield, gets his 1st win over coach stoops.

Mitch Motley

(7-4)

Kentucky 41 – Louisville 24

Shawn Barbour

(7-4)

Louisville 33 – Kentucky 28

Cards are able to score enough and uk has trouble running the ball. Chris Rodriguez has 2 fumbles and loses 1 that leads to UofL points. Will Levis and Wan’dale have good success, but a timely interception seals the win (God make me prophetic).

Hive

(6-4)

Louisville 42 – Kentucky 38

I have the Cards winning 42-38 in a game that I believe will have fans of both teams on the edge of their seats for the entire game. Cunningham has been playing some of the best football of his entire career and it’s coming at the perfect time as the Cats have struggled containing QBs with the ability to make plays with their legs and their secondary has also struggled throughout the season. This game will be about which team manages to hit on their explosive plays at a higher rate and I believe the Cards will edge the Cats out in that department.

Katie Goben

(7-2)

Kentucky 42 – Louisville 17

In Satterfield’s last game as the UofL coach (either by his own doing or not, is yet to be decided), UofL just can’t close it out. It’s close until the 3rd and then they blow us out.

The CSZ staff consensus average is

UofL 32.8  – Kentucky 28

Las Vegas Line = Louisville -3

Over/under = 57.5

CSZ staff predicted average odds = UofL -4.5 Over/Under = 66.5
