Louisville interim head men’s basketball coach Mike Pegues met with the media on Friday morning to discuss the Cards’ most recent loss at North Carolina and preview the upcoming matchup with Wake Forest on Saturday. He was joined by sophomore forward Dre Davis.
Louisville lost 70-63 at North Carolina on Monday night. The Cards have now lost eight of their last nine games.
Louisville and Wake Forest match up at 7:00 p.m. ET on Saturday night in Winston Salem. Louisville previously beat Wake 73-69 on Dec. 29 in its home opener. The Cards now sit at 12-15 overall and 6-11 in the ACC. The Demon Deacons come in at 21-8 and 11-7. The game will be televised on ACC Network.
