When the Louisville Cardinals take the field Saturday to open the season against the Syracuse Orange they will don a familiar combo. The Cardinals will roll into the JMA Wireless Dome sporting the red chrome helmets, white jersey, and red pants. The last time the UofL wore this combo was the 62-22 drumming of the Duke Blue Devils last season.
Ready to suit up.

Since Scott Satterfield took over at Louisville, he is 3-0 against Syracuse and he has beaten the Orange by an average of 29.6 points. However, the spread this season currently sits at only -4. Will the game be closer than locals think it will it be or will it be cut from the same cloth as the previous matchups? That is uncertain, but what is certain is the Cards will be looking smooth when they take the field.
