CSZ Staff Predictions: Louisville vs Boston College

CSZ staff

Jeremy Wahman

Louisville 38 – BC 10

Boston College is out 8 total offensive lineman/Tight ends. This will be as close as Higgy’s macros for the week. Louisville looks like the team we all thought they should’ve been.

Jeff Nunn

Louisville 42 – BC 7

I was going to predict a shutout by the D but I think Jerkovik will attempt plenty of short little dink and dunk passes and 1 will break for a score. He will be trying to get the ball out of his hands quickly to avoid Yaya and Yasir. Plus BC can’t run the ball. However, the Cards can run it very well. Career day for Cooley. Weather could change things drastically so tread lightly.

Higgy

Louisville 21 – BC 17

I just feel like this will be a win but Boston College has sneaky games. We will see.

Ben Gumbel

Louisville 33 – BC 13

BC has not beaten an FBS team this season. Louisville has got to take care of business here. After last week’s performance, I expect them to.

Trevor Edwards

Louisville 28 – BC 7

It’s gonna be cold and rainy or id predict the cards by more Louisville dominates on the ground and the defense gets 5 sacks in the game because the BC offensive line is so injured and brown dials up a lot of pressure.

Sam Basden

Louisville 38 – BC 17

Louisville is sitting at 2-2 and 0-2 in conference play, but the Cards are coming off an impressive victory last week at home. Perhaps it was the 1st time under Satterfield where all 3 phases came together perfectly. Can the Cards have a repeat or similar performance against a struggling BC team? I doubt it. The offense will continue to give opposing teams fits, special team will continue to improve, but the defense might take a step back. Louisville tends to struggle vs a legit #1 receiver (Flowers) and a really good tight end (Takacs) and BC has both. Look for the front seven to shut down the rushing game and to get a lot of pressure on the QB in a 38-17 Cardinals victory.

Dalton Pence

Shawn Barbour

Louisville 38 – BC 7

Boston College gets a Jurkovic to Flowers TD and that’s it. Cards run the ball all day and make it a long one for BC front 7.

Blake McCauley

Louisville 30 – BC 3

Too much depth on both sides of the ball compared to BC, plain and simple. Another confidence boosting win for the Cards.
