It didn’t end liked we all had hoped but the gap has definitely narrowed. We all know this series goes in streaks. Cards have been on the wrong end the last 4 years but the future looks bright. If you go back to 1995, Louisville won 2 in a row, then UK won 2 in a row. Louisville then won the next 3 years, lost 1 then won 4 more years in a row. UK then won 4 years in a row before Louisville won 5 years in a row. After alternating wins in 2016 and 17, UK has now won 4 years in a row. Thankfully they didn’t play in 2020. UK now leads the all time series 19-15.
