If you were not inside the YUM Center on Saturday you missed one of the best comebacks in Cardinal sports history. For me, the Miracle On Main will always be the best comeback ever (because of the amount of points they trailed by) but this Regional Finals match against Oregon will rank second on my list. It was truly a special moment. No they were not down by a lot of points but the Cards were 1 point of being eliminated. With Oregon leading 2 sets to 1, the Ducks led 24-23 serving for match point but an Oregon error gave the Cards new life. After that error the Cards were like a shark with blood in the water. Claire Chaussee went hammer-time on the Ducks to force a 5th set. In the 5th set the Cards confidence grew and point by point they stole the soul out of every Oregon player. Anna Debeer went ham on the Ducks in the final set with 6 kills (including 4 in 5 plays). But the final match winning point was hammered home by one of my favorite players, Aiko Jones.
